Sacred Air: Love Continuum on Nov. 9th

Aloha Kakou! Love to us All!

“We are the breath of the ancestors,” said the dreamsong. And then, as a chorus, I heard “Shine, shine, shine.” I saw a row of happy elder Rockettes kicking up their legs, giggling.

As I sat in sacred space near the ocean’s edge and felt the breathing of Nature, I smiled at the power of the Divine Imagination to astonish me yet again. I had taken a step away from the intensity of this election season, reaching for the higher wisdom that would replace the pervasive anxiety of our historical time with the harmony of interbeing among the plants, the salty aroma of the sea, and the sun warming my skin.

With life flowing in breezes through the koa and coconut trees, my ancestors’ and spiritual allies’ sense of humor could appear. Great Grandpa and Grandma doing grand battements in the imaginal realms? It came not only as a pleasant surprise, but as deep joy awakening in my core. Everything in holy rhythm, I experienced more than imagination; I entered the imaginal realm and felt my whole being lighten up and let go.

LOVE CONTINUUM – NOVEMBER 9, 1 – 5 PM at the New Thought Center

At the outset of this letter inviting you to the Love Continuum event happening on Saturday, November 9th, 1 – 5 pm, let me point out that our personal and healing movement, like this seaside experience of embodied connection with Nature spirits, is quite different from the unhinged swaying of politicians onstage at rallies while illegally playing rock and country music.

The difference is that Love Continuum connects us more deeply to Earth, each other, and has a point, a moral compass. We draw from timeless spiritual wisdom traditions and cutting-edge understandings of quantum physics to guide us toward more aligned collaboration and compassion.

As we share our “cutting-edge ancient wisdom” through deep conversations and relationships with Nature, powerful truths about our lives are revealed. Our species’ relationship with the web of life and our responsibility in helping sustain this precious planet are central principles in Love Continuum’s hybrid teaching of Polynesian Shamanic Mysticism and Continuum Movement.

AT THE OCEAN

Back to the ocean’s edge, and the song of the ancients: vibrations moved through my legs, feet, chest, pelvis and throat. The permeating spirit of sound changed the position of my throat which shifted the position of my pelvis and the full reach of my arms. These simple phrases electrified all my cells. My skin tingled and my heart’s lantern glowed. I breathed in, slow and deep, and rested on the exhale, attentive in Deep Listening, resting in the knowledge of my own ancientness and the person I am becoming.

As a mantra (words of power) the dreamsong offered me another doorway for traversing and merging with the subtle field of Air, the Element we will honor in the Saturday, November 9th Love Continuum.

Relaxing into the fullness of my Soul Cluster, immersed in the loom of love, and in a sacred space outside my ordinary perceptual conditioning, I gave the Universal Spirit my steady concentration and focused time — time for the unseen hidden in plain sight to reveal itself. I became moving medicine, my body an oracle, my breath an umbilical cord to the cosmos, making sounds not WITH the ancestors, but AS the breath of the ancestors.

In Deep Listening mode, humming, moving, and chanting, I aligned with the spirits and became the song.

THE IMAGINAL WORLD

Some are inclined to call these spirits ‘imaginary,’ yet in our opinion this is not an accurate description because the word ‘imaginary’ implies that these beings are not real, that they are mental constructs or fantasies or ‘make believe.’

A more accurate description would be to call them ‘imaginal’—a word that implies that they exist in a realm of experience and awareness in which they inhabit a reality of their own—“an ‘imaginal world’ or Mundus Imaginalis, which is co-existant with the mundane experiential world of ordinary reality that we all take so much for granted,” said wisdom keeper Hank Wesselman.

This is the world of ‘things hidden’ interwoven with our world of ‘things seen.’ Why is it so vital to connect with this world at this stage in our human evolution? Through connection with the mana, prana, and chi of the Spirit Worlds, we may connect with the collective and enduring repository of the wisdom of our species Homo sapiens.

If we are to transform into Homo Luminous – light beings capable of navigating the coming times on Earth – this connection is essential.

Navigating the subtle fields is not about a set of instructions or methods. It is about the journey into new consciousness territory that calls us as a species to discover the ways of feeling and thinking and perceiving that the Future Human will need during and after these transitional times.

In the Dreaming, where the Lower, Middle, and Upper Worlds help us to understand the full breadth of our awareness, we spawn visions, poems, ideals, songs, remedies, wisdom, and uplifting sweetness – all of it percolating new aliveness through us and everything everywhere.

Inspiration, from the Latin inspirare, meaning “to breathe or blow into,” carries the sense that wind or air connects us to more creative concepts, like motivation, ambition, and artistry. You will….

At this remarkable time, there is a cosmic wind in our sails. This is a good time to journey far, feel deeply, and turn the tides of our humanity toward the Love Continuum.

Remembering what the Wizard said in Rings of Power — “Alone it’s just a journey. Adventures must be shared!”
