How do YOU grow wisdom and joy?

Regardless of what your favorite up-wiser and energy lifter is, the one universal key in all these levitators is that we do them in a body, the vehicle, the instrument, and the sanctuary for our soul in this lifetime.

Every single day, our well-being, happiness, and success depend on how we relate to our body, our vehicle, which includes the physical form as well as the mind, and the energy essence.

In this very moment, are you aware of your body, flowing with relaxed energy, feeling creative and grateful? Are you breathing now, in your center, anticipating a joyous future.

Or are you tense, numb, full of triggers and pain that make you avoid deep breathing? Are there areas where you disembody, disconnect mind from body, and feel a dread of the future?

To improve the balance of light to dark in the body, yogis practice daily to invigorate and direct energy through the body and its energy sheaths, sending light through the matrix of meridians, or in Sanskrit, nadis, pathways of light flowing. Meridians move both inside and outside the body; when they flow freely, they continually clear stress, physical toxins, misperceptions, and mental debris from the body.

Yogassage frees up the pathways through touch at specific acu-pressure points. Drawing from the ancient practice of Traditional Thai Yoga Massage, the methods have roots in Yoga, Ayurvedic medicine, and Buddhist spiritual practice.

This unique and complete system of Yogassage combines rhythmic contact using hands, thumbs, fingers, and elbows, acupressure, gentle twisting, deep stretching, and meditation. In both giver and receiver, it releases tension, increases vitality, and fosters the ecological self, our sense of wholeness of mind, body, heart, and spirit interweaving in deep communion with the world.

The ecological self is that part of us that senses how we are inextricably entwined with lives beyond our own. Besides human relationships, we depend on trees. Trees depend upon grasses. Grasses depend on animals. Mountains depend on oceans. Oceans depend on us not polluting them. Nature is depending on us.

As we grow joy and wisdom through the peaceful practices of Yoga and Yogassage, so more peace and wise action spread throughout the world.
