Infinity Dance Restores Radiant Health
Healing Movement & Yin Yoga to Soothe Your Soul
WORKSHOP ON MAY 17, 10 AM – 12 PM
At the Warehouse, Club Rehab in Kealakekua
79-7422 Mamalahoa Hwy
“There’s a brain revolution in fitness. It’s called meditation,” says Dr. Marya Mann, co-author of Healing Our Planet, Healing Our Selves. “Anyone can do it,” she says. “And being mindful cultivates universal human qualities. Everyone benefits and it’s easy to learn.”
Infinity Dance is a way of living, says Dr. Mann, a clinical Wellness Consultant and Yoga Teacher in Kealakekua. “Neuroscience shows that mindful movement brings precision, joy and more caring into everything we do—and it cuts down needless stress. So it reduces, pain, medical bills, complaints and the causes of many life problems.”
It’s evidence-based, easy to learn and it sparks innovation. “As we deal with an increasing complex and uncertain world, being mindful can lead us to effective, resilient, low-cost responses to seemingly intractable problem,” she explains.
Drawing from Yoga, her work with PSYCH-K – psychological kinesiology – and cross-cultural dancing including hula, sacred dance and indigenous trance dancing, Infinity Dance balances and harmonizes the body and mind, producing a state of tranquility and grace.
“If you understand the nature of who you are, you realize that you are actually a community of about 50 trillion living cells, according to Bruce Lipton, author of The Honeymoon Effect. Infinity Dance gives us state-of-the-art movements for wholesome communications among all our cells, our many relationships and also with the larger environment.”
Please bring a yoga mat, cushion or pillow, blanket and water to the workshop. For more detail, please call Kona Coast Wellness at 808-345-0050. Fee is by donation.
