3 Keys to Illuminating Yoga | Feeling. Fascia. Flow

While there are thousands of reasons and ways to illuminate your Soul, I want to share with you 3 Keys to Yoga illumination: Feeling. Fascia. And Flow.
How we move, breathe, express, and think depends on the state of trillions of cells in our body. Cells are broadcasting and receiving stations that thrive when nourished and weaken when depleted. Finding our body’s sweet spot — our balanced bio-mechanical, fluid, and energetic ‘happy place’ — helps our cells to function well.
All kinds of fitness —Yoga, Dance, Pilates, Qigong, Tai chi, weight training, swimming, physical therapy – can help cells to find the proper tension environment, the ‘Goldilocks’ spot where they function happily – not too tight, not too loose, but just right.
And yet Yoga, through attunement, alignment, breathwork, and insight, uniquely engages every single cell in the body and gently excites them into higher vibrational states. When our connective tissue, the fascial web, is communicating from a stable, high-frequency state, the three keys help us to stay in equilibrium.
FEELING WHAT IS actually happening in the body, in this moment, brings awareness of habitual movement and tension patterns so we can release them, relaxing the body and freeing up higher consciousness as physical and mental tension dissolves.
THE FASCIAL NETWORK is engaged through intention, alignment, micromovements, and the breath. Full-bodied movement and asana awaken a felt sense of this inner web of life, Nature’s wholeness, and we sense it in the skin and everything underneath it.
Yogis found millennia ago that an ocean of intelligent prana moves through the body everywhere. At least 72,000 nadis, or streams of energy, flow through you. This matrix of inner light and sound permeates the fascia, It nurtures, transmutes, and guides the cells in rhythm with Nature’s heartbeat.
This light is the vibrational medicine of the future, but the ancients knew about it. They used it all over the globe, but many in our present time have forgotten the power of light and sound medicine, but that is changing.
A NATURAL FLOW of gratitude and contentment fills the heart, hara, and brain with streams of vibrant new energy. Nature’s feel-good neurochemicals massage the body from the inside out and remind us what wholesomeness and inner presence really feel like.
So, by relieving pressure or strain in the connective tissue, we loosen tension holding patterns, which helps to relieve pain, boost the immune system, speed the healing of tissue injuries, soothe excess heat, bring coherence, and lift the spirits.
We emphasize the power of the heart, the strength of the body, and concentration in the mind to renew and restore our wholeness. In the arms of the Yogic matrix, we heal from life’s stressors and reclaim the disowned parts to come fully into the present where we connect, dance, and delight in this sacred world, with our Souls intact.
Feeling, Fascia, and Flow. It makes a world of difference.
